1980 SE Racing PK Ripper [SOLD]

This was the first of the OK Rippers that I have built.... a 1980. The frame was imported from the US and had been freshly powder coated in black. The build featured some very nice NOS parts, including the gold anodised Pro Neck stem and the Sugino Super Maxy cranks. The decals on this bike were NOS too, as were the UKAI 1 3/8" rims, Suzue hubs, Shimano SX pedals and Tange grips. The bars and forks, however, were modern...part of the SE Retro stuff, fortunately they came in a gloss black powder finish. The Dia-Compe stuff was all repop. I had to run a DC730 on the front to fit with the 1 3/8" rims. With some regret, I dismantled and sold this bike in February 2013 to fund another build. I always end up regretting selling my Ripper frames.
