1981 SE Racing PK Ripper [REBUILT]
I love this bike...it's my ball-burnished 1981 PK Ripper with unstamped Landing Gear forks and original, unknurled SE Powerwings. The brakes are Dia-Compe MX900s for the front and MX1000s for the rear, with vintage DC brake pads and mint Tech 4 levers. The stem is a beautifully polished Tuf-Neck Pro Model and I've used a Tioga Beartrap headset. The cranks are rechromed Bullseye Second Generation 185mm on a sealed-bearing Bullseye bottom bracket. To this, I fitted some used, but very nice Suntour XC-II pedals. The seat is a near mint Cycle Pro Shotgun II, and the seat post clamp is an NOS, black anodised, stamped Tuf Neck. The wheels are chrome Araya 7x rims, laced to Campagnolo Record high flange hubs. The grips are A'Me Cams. The chain is Izumi. The pad set is a repop. I am still looking for some mint silver Tech 3s for this build.
