1982 Mongoose Pro Class [REBUILT]

This is my 1982 Mongoose Pro Class. The frame, forks and bars have been chromed by Doug Taylor. The wheels are NOS Pro Class, Series III, hard anodised rims laced to NOS Suzue hubs by Source BMX. They have NOS Knarler Knobby tyres. The cranks are mint Pro Class 3-piece on a Tange sealed bearing Pro Class bottom bracket and NOS Pro Class Power Plate and NOS Takagi 40T chain ring. The pedals are very nice, restored Shimano DX. The headset is Mongoose stamped and the stem is a mint, polished ACS Pro Class stem. The brakes are Dia-Compe MX900 front and MX1000 rear with Tech 4 levers. The seat post is an NOS Ishiwata and the clamp is a mint, vintage Dia-Compe MX. The seat is a lovely, used Mongoose Team Kashimax MX. The decals and grips are from BMX products. The pad set is NOS and the race plate is an NOS Haro. This bike won the Retro Goose July Bike of the month Competition.

  3. May I ask you what the serial number of that is? Because I didn't think they had loop tail rear until 1983. Ty
